Okayama University held an opening ceremony on May 16, 2025, for the Okayama University Japan Study Information Center (OJEIC) Malaysia Office, established within Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) as part of the Ministry of Education-commissioned project, “Overseas Network Enhancement Project to Promote Study in Japan.”
The event was attended by President Nasu, Vice President Suzuki (in charge of international affairs and alumni relations), and Faculty of Agriculture Dean Ichinose.
This office will serve as a hub for disseminating information about studying in Japan in Malaysia. By collaborating with local universities, including UPM, as well as Japanese-affiliated institutions and alumni organizations, this office will further promote support activities for students aspiring to study in Japan.
