Admissions procedure

Once you successfully pass the entrance exam, the next step is the enrollment procedure. The flow for completing the enrollment process is outlined in the entrance exam guidelines. Additionally, admitted students will receive enrollment documents that contain more detailed information.

Most universities set a deadline for the enrollment process and give about one to two weeks after the announcement of admission results, requiring students to pay the enrollment fee and complete the necessary paperwork within this short period. Preparing a large sum of money immediately may be difficult, and completing the documents alone is often impossible since they require a parent’s signature and official seal, which can take time to prepare.

It is crucial to start preparing in advance and begin the process as soon as you receive the enrollment documents. If, for any reason, you are unable to pay the enrollment fee or complete the paperwork within the deadline, contact the university as soon as you become aware of the issue.

Enrollment Payments

The enrollment procedure payment must be paid during the admission process. This payment consists of the admission fee, facility expenses, and tuition for the first semester (spring semester). The tuition for the second semester (fall semester) is usually due around September or October. The average enrollment procedure payment at private universities is approximately 800,000 yen.  (Some universities may have different tuition and facility fees for each semester, but this calculation provides a general estimate.)
